This page is about a question we get from time to time: who actually owns the games on GameFyno? Short answer — not us. Here’s the longer version, along with what to do if something on the Site is using your work without permission.

1. Who Owns What’s in the Catalog

GameFyno doesn’t build games. Every title you find here was made by an independent studio, a solo developer, or a publisher, and each one keeps full ownership over their work — the code, the artwork, the music, the characters, all of it. When we feature a game, we’re linking a player interface to content that’s already been made available for embedding or distribution through an official channel or an authorized platform. That arrangement doesn’t shift ownership anywhere; the rights stay exactly where they started.

2. What’s Actually Ours

Set the games aside, and there’s a separate layer that does belong to GameFyno: the name, the logo, how the catalog is structured into categories, and any original descriptions or design work we’ve written ourselves. That part isn’t up for republishing without asking first.

3. If Something Here Is Yours and Shouldn’t Be

Rights holders occasionally spot their own work showing up somewhere it shouldn’t. If that’s you, the quickest path is our DMCA page — it spells out exactly what a valid notice needs to include so we can look into it right away instead of going back and forth over missing details.

4. What Happens Once We Get a Notice

A complete, valid notice gets reviewed and, where it checks out, the material in question gets pulled or blocked promptly. We may also follow up with whoever supplied the content for clarification. Notices that are vague, incomplete, or clearly don’t hold up won’t result in removal.

5. If You Think Something Was Pulled by Mistake

Content removed based on a notice can sometimes be reinstated if you file a counter-notice — the process for that is also on our DMCA page.
